Raquel dabbled with yoga for many years on and off and never really felt the connection. Several years ago she took a hot power vinyasa class and absolutely fell in love with the asanas, the philosophy, and the sense of community. A couple of months later she decided to take her 200 yoga teacher training to expand her practice. That opened up a world of wanting to learn so much more. She took a 30 hour Yin Level one training, but didn't love the stillness of it— probably because it was what she needed the most. Now Yin, Yoga Nidra, Restorative, and Gentle are her most favorite to teach. Shortly thereafter, she took a sound healing course which she adores, and feels a connection to the power of sound in the body. She went on to take Usui Reiki Level 1 and 2. That did not stop her; she felt she needed more and on a last minute whim, decided to take her 300 yoga teacher training making her a 500 hour yoga teacher. Before graduating her 500 hour course, she also took an Angelic Reiki Level 1 and 2 training and a year later received the attunement of level 3 and 4 making her an Angelic Reiki Master. She has added another 30 hour Yin Level two. Finally, I've recently added a 25 Hour Ashtanga study to my repertoire. She believes the best teachers are always students first, which probably why she loves to learn. Yoga has become her peace in a world full of chaos and she is not done yet. So much more to learn and work on spiritually.
