Personal Bio:
Marian has been a teacher for 28 years, starting her career in primary education before developing an interest in Additional Support Needs and working for a time as a learning support teacher.
She is currently working in a Department of Additional Support linked to a local High School.
She has a Bachelor of Education and was awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Practice By The University Of Aberdeen in 2013.
Believing strongly in an holistic approach within education and the benefits and healing power of nature, Marian embarked on Forest School Training, becoming a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner in 2012.
She encourages relaxation and mindfulness techniques in her pupils, is registered with MISA Scotland and takes learning outdoors as much as possible.
Just over eleven years ago she began to explore complementary and holistic approaches to Health and Wellbeing earning a Diploma in Reflexology from Elmwood College.
This then led to further studies in other fields as this became a passion and a calling.
Marian trained to Master Teacher Level in Usui Reiki with Claudia Duncan, "Path Of Light" and in Angelic Reiki with Rosemary Stephenson, "Celestial Light Healers"
In 2014 she continued on her spiritual path, studying with Elizabeth Ann Morris and becoming a Golden Atlantis teacher, registered with The Diana Cooper Foundation.
Finally, in 2017 she completed her three year training with Carol Day, Centre For Creative Vision, graduating as a Creative Shamanism Practitioner.
Marian has a deep love of nature and is currently taking her first steps towards learning to become a Natural Bee Keeper. Nurturing and protecting these amazing, beautiful creatures.
From the young age of 7, Marian has written poetry and published a book called "The Nightingale Tree" in 2014.
She also enjoys painting and drawing.
As is the way of things (the Universe knows what it is doing) many of these teachings have overlapped and merged, granting the privilege of being able to offer an holistic approach to pupils, clients and loved ones .
In addition to this it is simply a way of being.
